For those of you who don’t know me already,
I've always been drawn to the road less travelled. After building a successful career that zigzagged through manufacturing, accounting, law enforcement, government, and non-profit sectors, I've learned one universal truth: success isn't about following a straight line—it's about having the courage to forge your own path.
As a life-long learner and strategist at heart, I've never been content with surface-level understanding. My curiosity led me to dive deep into the human psyche, earning certifications in Emotional Intelligence, Personality Assessment, Neurolinguistic Programming, and Neuroleadership. These weren't just certificates to hang on a wall; they were keys to unlocking the complex puzzle of human potential.
This journey culminated in my book, Now That the Candy's Gone: Mastering the Art of Self-Confidence—a raw, honest exploration of resilience and self-belief. It's more than just my story; it's a roadmap for anyone ready to take control of their narrative and face life's challenges head-on.
When I "retired" (though I laugh about this now, as I'm busier than ever), I made a commitment to address three critical gaps I'd witnessed throughout my career:

First, I'm taking on the flawed job market. As someone who's always been the underdog candidate, I learned firsthand that the system often rewards the best self-marketers rather than the best-qualified candidates. Second, I'm passionate about supporting leaders in the trenches. Having weathered my share of storms—from organizational restructuring to funding cuts, from conflict management to burnout—I know the weight of leadership can feel crushing at times. You're not just managing change; you're managing expectations, legal compliance, team dynamics, and your own well-being. I've been there, and I'm here to tell you: you're not alone. My role now is to be the mentor and support system I wish I'd had during those challenging times.
